In partnership with NIEA, Derry City Council, Strabane District Council, the Centre for Maritime Archaeology at the University of Ulster, the Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork at QUB and the local landowner. In August 2012 some 120 members of the public volunteered on the dig and many others visited the site and attended an open day in Bready. A book on the community archaeological project was published, The Lost Settlement of Dunnalong, as a resource for the wider community.
